Night-Time Beauty Routine

Hello!!

Since most of my posts have been fashion or food related, I decided to do a beauty post!

This is my Night Time Routine that I do almost every night. It’s pretty simple because my skin is pretty sensitive and acne prone so the products I use are perfect for any skin type!

I start by taking my makeup off:

I used to use the Neutrogena makeup wipes, but I’ve found that the greasy layer they leave on your face after you use them makes my skin break out. Now I use Cetaphil which is amazing and the best part is it takes off your makeup and washes your face at the same time! I use the gentle skin kind which I’ve found works better and doesn’t hurt your eyes (plus it’s fragrance free!!).

Next, I wash my face:

Like I said, I use Cetaphil to wash my face, but if I want to use something a little extra that night I will use the Dr. Bronner face soap. This stuff is amazing, you can use it for anything. Body, face, hair, I even use it to wash my makeup brushes and beauty blender! This stuff really works. If I want to exfoliate my face I will either use my Clarisonic with the Dr. Bronner’s or the St. Ives apricot scrub.

Tone:

I will tone my face with Thayer’s Witch Hazel on a cotton pad every night. In the morning I either use the witch hazel or spray Lush Tee Tree Water on my face before I put on my makeup.

Moisturize:

I’ve used a lot of different moisturizers through the years, but I find that my favorite night-time moisturizer is the Neutrogena Naturals Moisturizer. If my skin is extra dry that night I will use the Clinique Moisture Surge which is amazing but a bit on the pricey side so I definitely recommend the Neutrogena one to start with. There is also a Neutrogena gel moisturizer that is also great called Neutrogena Hydro-Boost Water Gel.

That’s pretty much it for my night-time beauty routine! It’s pretty simple, but all of the products I use I’ve used for a while and swear by them! You can find all but the Clinique Moisture Surge at Target or Walmart. You can either order the Moisture Surge online or at Macy’s or Sephora.

xoxo,

Sophie
